Suggested Replacement Line
There
is an excellent alternate to the line proposed by NSP between Red
Rock and Inver Grove Heights.
The
suggested line, which is shorter than the proposed line, has the following
advantages over the proposed line:

the slides, the Yellow-tinted areas represent industry; the Red-tinted areas
are residential, and the blue-tinted areas are undeveloped or parkland. Areas with no tint are either highways are
distant from the power lines.
